This is a preliminary website for this project that is still in the stage of planning. Eclipse cleaner will be a tool to help you remove components from your installation of the Eclipse IDE that are no longer needed, because they have been replaced by newer versions of the same component. So far, this process of cleaning up has to be done manually, which is tedious, error-prone, and easily can lead to inconsistent installations. This tool will automate this task while giving the user full control to decide which components will be deleted.
